GTA Jamaica rewards students’ excellence.

On Thursday July 3rd, 2014, St. Andrew Technical School celebrated their 50th Graduation ceremony.  Presenting gifts to the top 3 students in the automotive group as well as top students in Woodworking and Plumbing was Ian Gibson, Managing Director of newly formed GTA Jamaica.   GTA Jamaica, located at 5 Windsor Ave. Kingston 5 a newly divested company from Deryck A. Gibson Ltd., specializes in popular quality brands of hand tools and automotive service equipment.  In presenting gifts to the top achievers, Ian Gibson said he was very proud to once again be associated with the School and to be able to assist in providing encouragement to these high achievers.  Ian Gibson brings with him many years of experience in the automotive world and, was very encouraged to see the caliber of young talent entering into the job market.











Ian Gibson is seen here presenting the top achiever in the Auto Mechanics Lerour Williamson a Pro-Grade 171 piece mechanics tool set, congratulated the student on an outstanding job and wished him all the best as he ended his time at school and entered into the job market. Gifts were also presented to second place Kymali Gray, and to third place Renaldo Hewitt.  Also receiving gifts were Kewana White for first place in Plumbing and Raihime Hart in Wood Working.


Wealth Magazine Montego Bay Auto Show, July 19th~20th 2014

GTA Jamaica. participated in the inaugural Wealth Magazine Montego Bay Auto Show from July 19th to July 20th to great success.  Our booth was well attended by those in the Automotive industry looking to upgrade their equipment and curious to find out what's new in the industry, as well as others in the market looking to purchase a new power tools.

Kingston ADA Auto Show, November 28th-30th 2014

GTA Jamaica participated in the annual ADA ( Automotive Dealers Association) Show at the National Arena, to great success.  Our booth was well attended, despite the rain experienced on the Saturday.  Show discounted products all sold out quickly and, our grand prize draw of a Pro-Grade 171 piece mechanics tool set, drew the attention of all who attended the show.

Out with the "Old" and In with the "New", Feburary 2, 2015

Western Alignment in Montego Bay, were one of the first in Jamaica to take advantage of our trade-in (up) special for John Bean equipment.  On Feburary 2, they took delivery of a brand new 3D Ultra Wheel Alignment system, shown being installed at their garage.
